At House of Yoga York, we believe financial circumstances should not be the only factor in determining whether someone can pursue teacher training. For our upcoming 200-Hour Power Immersion Teacher Training, we are offering tuition assistance to up to two participants who feel genuinely called to this experience and for whom the full cost of training would create a meaningful barrier.
At this time, we will be offering one 1/3 tuition award and one 1/2 tuition award.
Recipients will be selected through a thoughtful review of financial need, personal readiness, connection to yoga, potential for growth, and the ways applicants hope to carry what they learn into their lives and communities. Applying for tuition assistance does not guarantee an award or acceptance into the Teacher Training program.
Applicants must first complete the general Teacher Training application before submitting the separate Tuition Assistance Application. The assistance application may be completed in writing or submitted as a short video, and both formats will receive equal consideration. We understand that asking for financial support can feel vulnerable, and applicants will not be required to provide tax returns, bank statements, or other financial documentation. We simply ask for honest responses and enough information to help us understand how assistance would support their participation.
