The breath and keeping the flow moving.
I’ve been practicing yoga for over 3 years, I have 200 hours of teacher training from SYC in Towson, MD and have been teaching for over 5 months.
I practice yoga to continually check in to my body, my mind and my soul. I practice to connect deeper to God, the community and Mother Nature.
What inspires you about the HOY community?
What inspires me most about the HOY community is the enormous amount of LOVE that everyone continues to bring in, hold in this space and then give back out.
Why do you teach?
I teach yoga as a way to give back to the community. Every time that a student is in a class, it is an opportunity to see a new reflection of myself in them. Just the possibility that they can be lighter after a class then when they arrived is truly gratifying. It’s a mutual benefit!
What fires you up off the mat?
What fires me up off the mat is the time that I get to spend with my daughter and being a mom. I love to bring her to the studio to practice and when I teach. I’m also a foodie, love playing sports and music.
